December – Phuket Weather 2013
A typical December with plenty of sunshine interrupted by short thunderstorms, which normally happen in the evenings or at night. Great weather conditions for a holiday in Phuket, as not too hot so perfect conditions for beaches, tours & activities Phuket Island has to offer.
November 2013
November is the month for the popular Loy Krathong Festival, which takes place on the evening of the full moon of the 12th month in the traditional Thai lunar calendar. In 2013 it was the 17th of November. The weather that evening was dry, the rest of the month saw the usual Sunshine interrupted by some Thunder Storms bringing some heavy rain. October 2013
October, time for the Phuket Vegetarian Festival. The month started with quite a bit of rain however less than the average. Looks like the rain patterns changing in Phuket.

September 2013
Normally you expect a lot of rain in September, however compare the average we saw less rain than in resent years.

August 2013
August can bring violent storms, big waves and rain, however this August and also in 2012, we saw some storm but not as strong as usual. The Sea was almost flat all time, few days with heavy rain but many more with sunshine and a gentle breeze making a stay on the beach just perfect.

July 2013
The month of July in 2013 saw as usual for July less wind and just some short rain showers. Big tropical storms formed in the South China Sea we brought from time to time stronger wind and rain, but this happen only few days and never for a long period, so a quite enjoyable month.

June 2013
June 2013 took us into the summer season with the biggest moon of the year and high tides, also as usual for the month the strong wind blew from South West bringing rain, big waves and floods. However the floods were by far not as bad as published in the news.

May 2013
May is the start of the low season, however this year it was a late start. The weather in May saw not as much rainy days as usual and we had quite a few sunny days here in Phuket Island.
